Tony Westfallen, operates as an external consultant to Saxobank from the mountains and beaches of Northern Portugal.
Having spent over 30 years as a trader and analyst in a broad number of capital markets, Tony is currently providing trading ideas on the various Saxobank stock indices.
In addition to this he occasionally writes commentary in his “Old man Ramblings”, to provide his personal view on how the markets appear to be shaping-up and where traders should be looking.
Since leaving Saxobank 4 years ago, when he gave up the position of Chief Dealer of both CFDs and Futures, Tony has continued to use the Saxobank platform to successfully generate his own income, plus provide information and support to his global network.
Tony often writes under the pseudonym of "The Old Man" as he started his career as a technical analyst with Merrill Lynch in 1974. (However, he also likes to point out that he has not reached his 51st Birthday yet).
"I have always been a friend and an admirer of Saxobank. And remain impressed by its continued product development and managerial dynamism".
"My style of trading has developed over so many years of technical and fundamental analysis I find it difficult to "pigeon hole". But with my present area of responsibility, I will be forced to rely heavily on a few technical tools and continued refinement".
"The main aim for all of us is to generate income, and as I am still operating in this business after 30-years of trading, the few tricks I have picked up on the way seem to be helping".
What is interesting for me is to apply these skills using only the Saxo-trader as my source of information, and apply these skills purely on CFD indices.
This external location is the typical position many traders work from themselves and I hope that the successfulness of this project will help many investors to achieve their own trading goals.
I am expecting this project to prove ultimately very successful, and will target a return of 3% per month.
