Copenhagen

Saxo Bank originated in Copenhagen, Denmark, and was founded by joint CEOs Lars Christensen and Kim Fournais.

Singapore

In August 2006, Saxo Bank opened subsidiary 'Saxo Capital Markets Pte. Ltd.' in Singapore, offering local trading expertise and services to Asian clients.

Marbella

In June 2007, Saxo Bank opened an new office in beautiful Marbella catering largely for the finacially astute expatriate community residing in the area. The office is headed by Kurt Carlsson, a 14-year veteran of Saxo Bank and longtime director of the Bank’s Private Client Group.
Saxo Bank has a large concentration of private clients in Spain, where the investment culture is geared toward active, sophisticated clients. Their demand for innovative, self-directed, multi-product investment solutions has led Saxo Bank to provide greater support to these clients, including the development of Saxo Bank’s Private Wealth Management concept.
